Destiny Prep, a community campus of WonderEd K–12 Academy, provides students access to an accredited program while combining strong instruction with real-world preparation for college, career, leadership, and adulthood.
Destiny Prep provides students with a more personal learning experience—one where they can be known, supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow. Our intentionally smaller learning environment allows for greater individual attention, stronger relationships with educators, and learning that can respond more closely to each student's strengths, needs, and goals.
Alongside core academics, students develop practical skills through STEM, technology, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, leadership, personal development, and hands-on learning.

Our Educational Approach
Students complete grade- or course-level academic work through a blended learning model that combines digital curriculum, educator instruction and guidance, discussion, writing, projects, and hands-on learning. Educators monitor progress, explain concepts, provide feedback, and adjust support or challenge as needed.
Personalized Learning Plans help identify each student's goals, strengths, areas for support, and opportunities for greater challenge. This allows students to share collaborative learning experiences while still progressing through academic work appropriate to their own grade or course level.
Our first Destiny Prep graduate completed high school with a 3.8 GPA and went on to attend The University of Alabama.

Grades 9–12
High School With the Future in Mind
High school should give students opportunities to begin thinking seriously about life after graduation. Eligible Destiny Prep high school students have access to dual enrollment opportunities, allowing them to begin college-level coursework while completing high school.
Dual enrollment can provide valuable exposure to college-level expectations and the opportunity to begin earning college credit before graduation.
Preparing for Different Pathways
College is one possible pathway, but it is not the only one. Destiny Prep helps students build the academic foundation and practical skills needed to pursue the direction that fits their goals.

Alabama families now have expanded educational choice through the CHOOSE Act, a state-funded financial assistance program designed to help families access participating education providers. Destiny Preparatory Christian School is a CHOOSE Act provider.
